Hollywood Glam Style

If you like glitz, glamour and lots of sparkle this is the look for you. Mirrored furniture, crystal accessories, lacquer items both big and small – if it's shiny or glossy it belongs. Showy, indulgent fabrics are also a staple of the look so think about velvet drapes, silk cushions and lampshades, and deep, soft carpets. When it comes to furniture look for fairly traditional, slightly clean-lined shapes. You don't want everything to be matchy-matchy, but they should coordinate with each other. More often than not the color palette is neutral, though pink frequently makes an appearance. More than anything though Hollywood Glam is all about the details. Add fringe, button-tufting, ribbon and tassels and be sure to use lots of mirrors, crystal and shiny surfaces.
