Match Green Paint or Not

You Could Go Crazy Trying to Match These Hues

From , former About.com Guide

Use greens in fabrics instead of on the walls.

While everyone knows that it's really hard to match shades of blue, green is considered by interior designers as the hardest color to capture for wall and furniture paint. For some reason, it's almost impossible to get a green paint to coordinate well with fabrics or accessories.

Our simple solution is this: instead of trying to get just the right green on the walls, choose another complimentary color. Then use the green in coordinating fabrics, art work, carpeting, rugs, and accessories. And don't forget to include plants and flowers in your decor.

By using shades of green everywhere but the walls, you'll save yourself time, frustration, and even money spent on bad choices.
