Paying tribute to Thomas Oliver Larkin who is credited with influencing the Monterey Colonial style of architecture, Carolyn E. Oliver incorporated Yankee elements to the Kitchen, Family Room, and Butler Pantry. The cabinets resemble a chest-on-chest, finished to look like Colonial candlewicking, and the refrigerator resembles a Sheraton highboy.
The soft hues of golden straw and soft gray connect the large family space. A collection of oil paintings, an HD television, and custom furniture combine to make a place where everyone will want to gather.
