2008 Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts

by Coral Nafie
for About.com

For over 50 years, Pasadena area volunteers have donated their talents and time to raise money for arts programs in the community.

The home chosen for the 2008 Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, designed by Henry Harwood Hewitt, was completed in 1922, at the price of $250,000. It is a Spanish Colonial Revival style home 10,200 square feet in size. Designers have transformed 17 interior spaces and 6 exterior areas to offer the public a view of an historical home, exceptional restoration work, and extraordinary design.

View some of the spaces in the 2008 Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts in our slide show which follows.
