You can create a simple, pretty Christmas table centerpiece by wrapping up small packages and arranging them in the center of your table. Small wrapped packages nestled into holiday greenery will look festive and arouse the curiousity of your guests.

Materials for Christmas Gifts Centerpiece

fresh pine boughs
container or platter to hold gifts and greens
small wrapped gifts
ribbon for streamers and bows

Follow these simple steps to make your Christmas gifts centerpiece:

Collect small empty boxes or small gifts for your guests
Wrap the gifts in holiday colors or colors to coordinate with your room's decor.
Place the gifts into a decorative container such as a basket, box, or sleigh.
Or set them on an arrangement of fresh pine greenery.
Arrange ribbons around the packages or tie them all together with streamers hanging

Special tips for fine-tuning:

For a fun, entertaining idea, tie a long ribbon to each gift and attach it to a specific placesetting at the table. After your dinner is over, invite your guests to follow their ribbon to find which gift in the pile belongs to them. Children will especially love this idea!
You can pile the packages into a pyramid in the center of the table or spread them out along the top of the table.
