When you've completed making your Christmas wreath, trimming your Christmas tree, or decorating your mantle, you might have some small sprigs of branches left over. Follow the directions here to use up the last of your greens and end up with a beautiful, simple Christmas Centerpiece With Candles and Greens.

Materials for Christmas Centerpiece With Candle and Greens

  • round, oval, or square platter or tray
  • pillar candle (6" to 8" tall) in holiday color to coordinate with your decor
  • fresh sprigs of pine branches
  • ribbon bows
  • small ornaments or pine cones

Follow these simple steps to make your Christmas Candle and Greens Centerpiece:

  • Place your chosen tray in the center of the table.
  • Place the candle in the center of the tray.
  • Arrange sprigs of pine greens around the base of the candle, covering up the candle base and woody ends of the pine.
