Christmas Decorating Ideas – Decorate with Pinecones

Pinecones are the perfect fall and winter decoration. They're simple, sculptural and easy to find (or buy). They look great when they're accenting wreaths, floral arrangements and garlands but they also look great on their own. Fill a clear glass vase and you're done. Or, fill a bowl and then accent it with bits of greenery and berries or flowers. There's really no end to what you can do. And like with nuts, pinecones can easily be spray-painted in a festive color (gold and silver are always nice during the holidays).
