You're not looking at boring beige here. These soothing neutrals are soft tones from gold to tan to warm apricot. Dark accents in the draperies, furniture, and mats add interest and draw the eye.
It might take a bit of time to put together a color scheme when you're working with such similar colors throughout. Be sure that each fabric you choose has the same color value, meaning that you stick to either pale, medium-toned, or bright colors.
