If you want a perfectly round-top arrangement, the flower stems should all be cut to the same length. For our 5" bowl, we cut the stems to 8".
Remove the thorns from the rose stems to make them easier to place between the greenery stems.

Place 6 or 7 roses at a 45-degree angle around the lip of the vase, then add a few standing up in the center. Be sure that the ends of the stems are well into the water.
