Unfold the paper and tape it to the wall so that the top edge of the paper is straight and perfectly horizontal.

Tap a nail (or punch) through all of the marks on your paper. These dents will guide the placement of the picture hangers. Mark the dents with a pencil mark if needed.

Lift up the paper and make sure you can see each nail hole, then remove the paper template. (You can also leave the paper in place and nail right through it if your arrangement is particularly complicated.)

Attach the picture hooks to the wall and make sure they are sized to hold the weight of the objects you are hanging. (Ask at a hardware store if unsure.)

Attach the back of the plate hanger onto each picture hook.
