Stripes with a Twist

Striped fabric gets a designer look by sewing opposing squares into a duvet cover, giving it an urban edge. Whether the stripe you like is silk, satin, velvet, cotton or canvas, consider how the stripes will look if placed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, or even mixing the look as shown here. Using a stripe in a variety of ways can make one fabric function almost like a coordinating collection of fabric.
