The straight look of the picture frame, mantle top, light fixtures, and firebox take on more appeal placed next to the curved lines seen in the painting, sculpture and stand, fireplace scrolls, stone lions, rug medallions, and the curved top and legs of the small ottoman. Look around your own rooms to see where you might add a different type of line.
