Dining Chair Style

Mixing upholstered and wood chairs at a dining table is a great way to add style on a budget. Upholstered chairs provide seating in a living or family room yet they can be easily moved to the table as needed. Keep the scale of the chairs in mind when using this technique so that they create a harmonious look. Also, the seat heights should be nearly identical so none of your guests get stuck in a lower chair.
