Red and Blue
This dining room's red floral upholstery was the inspiration for a colorful fall table. Blue and white plates are set on blue placemats. A large white pumpkin sits atop a cake pedestal.

Cake Stand
The cake stand adds height to the centerpiece.

A block, can, or book could be used instead to add levels to the arrangement. Cover these utilitarian items with a napkin or a piece of fabric.

Beaded Fruit
Beaded fruit add sparkle and coordinates with the red runner. These can be used as party favors or place cards by adding a ribbon and a small card written with the guest's name.

Vases
Use a trumpet shaped vase to hold pumpkins, fruit, or other decorations up off of the table.

Use this same technique of using levels to decorate your mantle.

Silver
Silver adds more sparkle and a touch of the unexpected as silver containers are used to show off mini white pumpkins. (Open browser window to maximum size to see all text.) © 2000-2002, Glenna J. Morton - #001101GJM - FallPROJ023
