You might add silver ornaments and star garland one year and red carnations with red berries another.

This is also a great way to adapt a holiday centerpiece to your home's decor by using decorations in the centerpiece that compliment the style and colors found in the room.

Copper picks
These unusual copper and metallic floral picks decorate a sophisticated centerpiece. Metallic cording (in shades of bronze, copper, and silver), gold ornaments, and sheer bronze ribbon bows accents this piece. No flowers are used so as long as the greens are kept in water the arrangement should last 2-4 weeks.

Fresh Flowers
Red mini-carnations add a nice touch, but any flower could be added including roses or even stems of silk flower. Layer on ornaments, garlands, ribbons, or sparkling picks. Replace flowers as they wilt.

Blue and Pink
Blue and pink ornaments (or any colors you choose to match your decor) decorate this arrangement. Use a variety of ornaments in one or more colors, and accent with ribbon or wire garland.
