Small apartments and condos often do not have sufficient storage space. Try these tips on finding hidden spaces for storage in your home.

  • Hang a fabric panel on the front of an étagère to hide wrapping paper, craft supplies, or tools.

  • A skirted table can camouflage a file cabinet, storage boxes, or even a television.

  • A lowboy can serve as a bedside table to store linens, stationery, or cosmetics.

  • A narrow cabinet, rather than an open-leg sofa table, can store games, DVD’s, and even stereo components.

  • A shallow, rolling box will fit under the bed to store out-of-season clothes, sweaters, and linens.
