The Dining Room

S. Joy Wood of Mirage Interior Designs, Inc. decorated this dining room in the 2003 Orange County Philharmonic House of Design with rich color and old world details. The room features rich red Venetian plastered walls punctuated with whimsical gold dragonfly designs.
The ceiling in this room is appropriately dressed to the nines in a palette of colors painted into a large diamond pattern. Along the wall a large colorful tapestry hangs over the sideboard accessorized with pieces that include the beaded lampshade pictured below.
