Stepping through the archway at the far end of the dining room visitors find Designer Lynn Kolbusz's colorful Morning Room in the 2003 Lake Forest Showcase House and Gardens. Windows on three sides show off enviable garden views including the home's namesake, Shadow Pond.
The mouth-watering colors of raspberry, yellow, blue, and green were taken directly from the elaborately painted ceiling that is original to the home. These colors are repeated throughout the space in upholstery fabrics, pillows, and draperies.

Centered under a gorgeous chandelier is a small dining table while the corners of the room include smaller seating areas for conversation or tea.
