Where can you find a professional interior arranger? Six years ago a group of Interior Designers formed the Interior Arrangement and Design Association (IADA). The first professional organization of its kind whose members are trained in this unique concept of one day decorating.

Other then the interior makeovers, IADA professionals assist homeowners who are experiencing diverse challenges. Working couples may have limited time to research cost effective decorating trends and solutions. Changes in marital status lead to difficulty when uniting two families under one roof. Newlyweds and younger families who are just starting out need advice on where practicality coincides with comfort. Empty nesters who are downsizing become overwhelmed with the decisions as to what stays and what goes. Adult children have a difficult time placing those inherited heirlooms. Families who relocate frequently are struggling to fit into their new space. Home sellers require the interior arrangement service of real estate staging in order to create a vital first impression in a market that demands value.

IADA has members nationwide and is highly regarded at both the national and local level. "We fill the need of a huge population of people who are reluctant to buy things that they don't want or that they don't need, or who fear that their home might not reflect their taste, " says Lisa Billings, current President of the association."

Interior Arrangers fees vary from $75.00 an hour to $300.00 per room, which is generally less than 10% of the cost of the furnishings in the room.

To locate a professional member in your area, visit the Interior Arrangement and Design Association web site. They will let your taste shine through, not the designers.
