Home Repairs Are Easier If You Have the Right Tools

Friday July 11, 2008
Even if you don't feel you're very handy when it comes to home repairs, there are some things you really should be able to do without calling in the handyman. Like replace the cover on a light switch or put together a simple bookshelf that comes in a carton from the home goods store.

You don't have to be an expert to make some minor repairs or fixes. But you do need some basic tools, no matter how simple the job.

Start with a tape measure and a couple of screw drivers, then go on to pliars and a hammer. You'll be surprised how much you can do yourself!

Use our helpful list to put together a basic household tool kit and you'll find that even putting a picture on the wall is not as hard as it might seem if you don't own a hammer!
