Are You Thinking About Adding Color to Your Living Room?
Monday July 7, 2008
I've been getting the feeling lately that I'm tired of the neutral, bone colored walls in my living room, dining room, and hallway. I'm thinking that I want at least a bit of color. I'm not ready to make a major decision, since I'd have to change color on my window treatments, furniture, and rugs. But I'm thinking about it.
Do you ever get the feeling that your living room (or any room, for that matter) is just boring? Things are in the right place, you've chosen good fabrics and the window treatments look just right. But the room isn't very exciting. That's where I am now!
Without doing a major remodel, which you might not need anyway, you can bring a pop of color to an otherwise dull and unexciting space. Read our list of Top Ways to Add Color and choose one that you can do. Your room will look more interesting and your home will be perked up a bit.

I used a multicolored slate wall mounted fountain to add color to my living room. The natural colors fit my decor perfectly, and it added not only color but texture to my home. I love it!
