How to Install a Childproof Lock on a Cabinet

Friday June 20, 2008
When children are home all day during the summer, there are lots of opportunities for them to get into places they don't belong. You'll want to be sure that every room in your home is a safe place for them to play.

The kitchen, in particular, has lots of interesting things that could potentially harm a curious child especially under the sink, where we often keep cleansers and bleach. To protect your family, store these harmful items safely by installing a child-proof lock on the cabinet door. These locks are economical and easy to install. Watch our video on How to Install a Childproof Lock on a Cabinet to get great tips on this easy do-it-yourself project.
