Think Outside the Frame for Art in Your Home

Once you get the walls painted in your room, you're not done! Unless you like a really bare space, you'll want to add some artwork and accessories to soften the area and add points of interest. But what do you do if you've spent your whole budget on furniture and window treatments, paint and light fixtures?

There are a number of ways you can create your own artwork that will look great on your walls and really enhance your space with personal touches.

Pull together a collection of family photos and coordinate the framing. Hang some beautiful plates on a wall. Use newsprint or wallpaper for mats for simple collections. Select some of your child's best work and frame it. The options are endless.
