I'm always amazed how expensive furniture is when I walk into a good furniture store. A single piece can really set you back hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars! I work hard for my money and don't like to throw it away!

When buying furniture, it's a good idea to think beyond your immediate need and plan ahead how you'll really use the piece. You'll feel much better spending your hard-earned money for a chest of drawers or armoire if you know that you'll be able to use it for many purposes.

Our article will guide you through the steps to decide just which piece of furniture will best suit your needs and last a lifetime.

(1) furniture lover :

Too true! people make all sorts of mistakes when buying furniture. This includes making a hasty decision. I have done this myself – now I NEVER say yes to a piece of furniture on the first viewing. Go away, have a coffee and visit another day for another look.

The other problem is buying furniture that is NOT going to stand the test of time. Poorly built furniture is wasted if it is not fit for use after a year. And, a big one, falling in love with the latest fad is going to end in tears when that fad is replaced with the newest one. Choose furniture for your home that has a history and longevity.
